Assistant Professor of Psychology

The Department of Psychology invites applications for a full-time assistant professor position on campus in Angola, Indiana, starting the Spring semester 2027. We are seekinga candidate who is committed to undergraduate instruction -- flexible, creative, and energetic with a strong desire to see students succeed. Candidates with a background in any area of psychology are urged to apply. Trine University does not offer tenure,but contracts are renewed annually, and faculty retention is outstanding

• Teach a broad range of undergraduate courses in psychology.
• Advise students majoring in psychology.
• Provide service to the University by serving on committees, advising student groups,and assisting with departmental initiatives, etc.
• Work with the department chair and faculty on program assessment, course and program development, and student recruitment.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in and the ability to teach a variety of undergraduate courses in the field of psychology. A doctoral degree in psychology or a related field is preferred. Candidates with masters degrees will also be considered.
