Role and Scope of Position

Responsible for working on projects currently being developed by our company. Duties include directing software system validation and testing methods, and leading software programming initiatives. The IT Software Engineer will also collaborate closely with clients and cross‑functional departments to communicate project statuses and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Define system functionality and write code in various languages, such as Java, Ruby on Rails, .NET (C#, C++), or
• Maintain familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from analysis to deployment.
• Build high‑quality, innovative, fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design.
• Participate in hybrid work schedules, ensuring availability for up to five days in the office for emergencies, training, or other business needs.

Technical Knowledge / Skill / Education / Licenses / Certifications

• Code reviews and build automation using Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, and similar tools.
• Experience with cloud services or industry standard frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Agile development practices and automated testing.
• Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision, delivering quality work on time.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced Degree in a related field preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of the work area, typically gained through advanced education combined with practical experience.

• Availability for emergency restoration assignments as required.
• Availability to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
