VEKAM is seeking a post-doctoral candidate to support, write and apply for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship to be conducted in the Koç University VEKAM, under the supervision of VEKAM director, Prof. Dr. Filiz Yenişehirlioğlu, Ankara, Turkey.

A PhD in Social Sciences and Humanities is required. Prior experience in Art History or Ottoman Cultural History is a plus. Oral and written communication skills in English and Turkish are a must.

Under the supervision of VEKAM director, Prof. Dr. Filiz Yenişehirlioğlu, the postdoctoral fellowwill be researching on Ottoman Art and Architecture, Research on Ankara.

The applicant is expected to conduct research, make presentation and write papers.

• A one-page cover letter, briefly describing your interest and relevant research experience
• A writing sample, a single journal article, a book or a dissertation chapter
• Two (2) letters of recommendation.

Research Support Office of Koç University will work one-on-one with each candidate throughout the preparation and submission process of the Marie Curie application.
