Join Casey’s Demand Planning team as an Inventory Analyst and help keep 2,900+ stores stocked and ready for guests! As an Inventory Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in our supply chain execution, ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time. You’ll manage system parameters, monitor inventory levels, and collaborate across teams to deliver on store inventory and receipt plans—all while contributing to a best-in-class inventory management process.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet guest demand while minimizing costs.
- Analyze demand patterns and market trends to forecast future inventory needs.
- Collaborate with procurement, merchandising, operations, IT, and logistics to streamline processes.
- Partner with Demand Planners to align inventory strategies with forecasts.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, or excesses quickly.
- Use Relex and data analysis tools to generate insights and drive continuous improvement.
- Support inventory control policies in partnership with Asset Protection.
- Plan distribution center supply levels and manage purchase orders to optimize inventory flow.
- Maintain SKU-level item lifecycle data, including cost changes and pack size updates.
Starting pay range: $54,300 - $71,300. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.

Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of related work experience or prior internship.
- Knowledge and understanding of Consumer-Packaged Goods and Food Service Products inventory management methods and procedures.
- Knowledge of data processing tools and techniques, with the ability to analyze impact using reporting tools.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate actionable insights from an analysis.
