Construction Engineer - Managerial role responsible for planning, execution, and completion of solar construction projects. Duties include project coordination, material procurement, permit management, quality control, and direct support to project-based staff and trades. Ensures safety, environmental stewardship, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Reports to Senior Director of Construction. Position is project-based assignment with hybrid working hours Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm local time. Overtime and weekend work required as needed. Travel up to 100% may be required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. No visa sponsorship available.

• Oversee and manage project deliverables ensuring compliance with timelines and standards.
• Lead procurement processes and coordinate engineering solutions with project personnel.
• Acquire and maintain permits in adherence to project specifications.
• Enhance team collaboration and communication across all stakeholders.
• Supervise generation and organization of project reports and technical documents.
• Provide operational support to superintendents, including timekeeping, resource allocation, and quality management.
• Lead safety initiatives, conduct job hazard analyses, and promote safe work practices.
• Enforce environmental policies by training and certifying field staff.
• Champion professional development of Field Engineers through training and certifications.
• Maintain professional relationships with third parties and meet client expectations.
• Attend regularly in accordance with company attendance policy.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or related field and at least 2 years construction experience.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in related field.
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with construction scheduling, CPM logic, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to support development, planning, installation, and execution of projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel full-time.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Regular attendance in accordance with company policy.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

• Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, stairways, etc.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights and in confined spaces.
• Walk or move continuously while carrying up to 50 lbs of tools and/or materials; assistance recommended for items over 50 lbs.
• Stand or walk for long periods and work extended hours on uneven surfaces.
• Perform repetitive movements and maintain full range of motion.

• Industrial construction sites and/or fabrication shop.
