WORSHIP MINISTRY SENDING RESIDENT CANDIDATE
Two-Year Residency Designed to Launch Leaders into Church Planting

We are seeking an enthusiastic, gifted, and teachable worship leader to join our team as a Worship Ministry Sending Resident in a two-year residency program intentionally designed to equip and send leaders to support or lead worship in future church plants.

This residency combines real-world ministry experience with theological education, providing a unique opportunity for emerging worship leaders to be deeply formed both spiritually and practically. You’ll engage in a structured training environment while also taking seminary classes—either at the undergraduate or graduate level, depending on your background.

Our vision is not just to develop worship leaders for our church, but to raise up and send out leaders who can help plant healthy, gospel-centered churches. We are looking for someone who senses a call to long-term ministry, has a heart for mission, and is excited by the opportunity to help build something from the ground up.

ABOUT OUR WORSHIP MINISTRY
We have an experienced worship and production team, along with a gifted and growing team of volunteers. Our culture values clarity, consistency, and compelling leadership. We create worship environments that are Christ-centered, Spirit-led, and intentionally crafted to engage hearts and minds.

As a Worship Ministry Resident, you’ll be mentored by seasoned leaders, regularly lead in gathered worship, and contribute to the planning and execution of worship services. You’ll also gain exposure to the strategic and spiritual dynamics of worship ministry in the context of a sending church. Our hope is that, after your residency, you will take what you've learned and help plant or support a new church, bringing vibrant worship and faithful leadership to a new community.

KEYSTONE CHURCH
Keystone Church of Ankeny is a dynamically growing church in the fast-growing city of Ankeny, Iowa (a northern Suburb of Des Moines). We are a 10-year-old church averaging around 1,500 on Sunday morning. We are elder led, preach through books of the Bible, and take our mission to help people know and follow Jesus very seriously.
