Dental Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Help dentists with exams and procedures by getting the tools and materials ready.
• Welcome patients and make sure they feel comfortable before their treatments.
• Take and develop x-rays when the dentist needs them.
• Clean and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following safety standards.
• Share tips with patients about oral hygiene and what to expect post-treatment.
• Stay up-to-date with new dental practices and tools by participating in training.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a dental assistant program is a plus.
• Experience in a dental office is required.
• Good communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for interacting with patients and coworkers.
• Must be able to work in a busy environment while maintaining a positive vibe.
• Detail-oriented and organized to keep things running smoothly.
