USA) delivers comprehensive turnkey solutions for utility‑scale solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects across the United States. As a Field Engineer we play a pivotal role in the execution and delivery of solar construction projects, supporting logistics, inspections, tool management, drawing review, and superintendent coordination.

Responsibilities
  • Regular Project Coordination and Compliance:
    • Assist with engineering requests for project‑based personnel.
    • Manage procurement of materials for trade requirements in line with project timelines.
    • Secure and maintain all necessary permits for assigned tasks.
  • Communication and Documentation:
    • Collaborate with team members to achieve desired outcomes.
    • Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders, including third‑party engineers and owners.
    • Oversee creation, compilation, and management of reports and technical documentation.
    • Maintain comprehensive records and control over project documents.
  • Operational Support and Quality Management:
    • Support superintendents through daily timekeeping and reporting of staff, equipment, and material usage.
    • Assist in developing project execution plans, monitoring schedules, and performing quality control checks to ensure compliance with project standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections of ongoing and completed work to uphold quality assurance.
  • Safety Leadership and Environmental Stewardship:
    • Champion safety by leading by example, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety practices and standards.
    • Conduct job hazard analyses before project commencement and advocate for continuous safe behavior among the crew.
    • Manage environmental compliance by ensuring the proper training and certification of field staff.
  • Professional Development and Team Support:
    • Develop trade‑specific training materials and execute inspection and testing plans.
    • Strengthen third‑party relationships through professional communication and meeting client expectations.
    • Set a positive example in both safety and quality for team members and subcontractors.
  • Regular attendance in accordance with the company’s attendance policy.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience (2 years of experience counts as 1 year of education).
  • Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel full time (up to 100%).
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Physical Demands
  • Stationary work up to 90% of the time and sitting up to 8 hours per day.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, walking, and carrying light to heavy loads up to 10 pounds.
  • Frequent communication and hearing requirements.
  • Occasional stair climbing.
  • Travel required up to 100% of the time.
Work Environment
  • Professional project‑based construction office setting.
  • Noise levels moderate to high at construction sites.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts.
