Become a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Tax Preparer with the Iowa Center for Economic Success.
We are looking for volunteers who want to have a significant impact in their community. You can become an IRS trained and certified volunteer tax preparer before the tax season begins, assisting taxpayers by accurately preparing their taxes for free.
If you enjoy working with numbers and people, this is a great opportunity for you!
Available locations include Des Moines (Evelyn K. Davis Center, United Way, Polk County River Place, LSI, and The Iowa Center), West Des Moines, and Ankeny.
Work hours are ongoing, with evening, Saturday, and flexible hours available.
