Calling Licensed Beauticians to Volunteer Hospice

Join our volunteer team! An integral piece of our interdisciplinary team, volunteers provide patient care and support services according to his/her experience and training and in compliance with organization policies.

We are looking for volunteers willing to meet our patients where they are to cut their hair!

We provide our patients with in-home care so that they can remain wherever they are most comfortable (nursing home, assisted living, memory care, etc.) so we are looking for volunteers in the communities that we serve. Our current service area includes Boone, Dallas, Jasper, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Polk, Story, and Warren Counties. Share your talents with our patients! Our volunteers report consistently that they find their experiences very gratifying.

Our Volunteer Coordinator and skilled staff members will orient volunteers to work confidently with our patients ensuring a positive volunteer environment. Contact us to see how you can put your skills to use, further enriching the lives of our patients! You may share your gifts in a very flexible timeframe but are typically requested by the patient to occur once each week for at least one hour.
