Behavior Technician (BT) – Children – Caravel Autism Health

Caravel Autism Health is looking for caring, compassionate, mentor‑mindful people to teach kids to thrive. Our Behavior Technicians (BT) work in a clinic‑based setting, playing and encouraging little learners while incorporating targets from their treatment plans. You’ll implement goals to increase desirable skills and reduce challenging behaviors, use a results‑oriented approach called applied behavior analysis, and document progress while engaging special kiddos in fun activities to build skills and social awareness.
Responsibilities- Provide one‑to‑one client sessions in a clinic‑based environment.
- Implement and record data for individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis.
- Encourage and reinforce desirable skills and reduce challenging behaviors during sessions.
- Support clients in achieving milestone moments such as sharing feelings or learning new skills (e.g., riding a bike).
- High school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or a related field is preferred.
- Availability to work full‑time between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday (clinics open a few Saturdays a month for make‑up sessions).
- Relevant experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
- Display a fun and creative personality, strong work ethic, and possess the ability to work at least 18 years of age.
- No experience required – paid training and support to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
