The clinic offers Iowa‑licensed aestheticians, highly trained nurse injectors, and advanced aesthetic solutions.
ScheduleFull‑time. Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- 8–10 years experience as a laser technician and medical aesthetician.
- Existing client base required.
- Prior experience in a lead, senior, or mentorship capacity preferred.
- High school diploma; college degree a plus.
- Licensed Iowa Aesthetician.
- RN license in Iowa a plus.
Skills and Abilities
- Experience with medical‑grade facials and skin care.
- Knowledge of skin care treatments, elective/aesthetic services and products, including office‑sold and other products.
- Substantial knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology.
- Telephone etiquette and excellent communication skills.
- Computer skills.
- Obtains patient signatures on appropriate forms.
- Problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Team‑player ability.
- Well‑organized with attention to detail.
- Can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Treats patients and co‑workers with respect.
- Empathetic toward patient needs and concerns.
- Serve as the clinical lead for aesthetic services, ensuring consistency, safety, and quality.
- Provide patients with complimentary consultations, educational materials, and recommendations tailored to their skin type.
- Determine skin‑care goals and recommend products/services accordingly.
- Seek physician advice and supervision as required.
- Coordinate patient communications regarding treatment plans and home‑care instructions.
- Maintain patient medical records and documentation within 48 hours of appointment.
- Perform treatments appropriate to patient skin type and machine, ensuring full training on machines before treating paying patients.
- Build new clientele and retain existing patients.
- Follow employee manual, HIPAA compliance, and OSHA standards.
- Maintain treatment rooms and work areas in compliance with OSHA.
- Monitor equipment operation and maintain it per manufacturer guidelines.
- Participate in in‑service education, staff meetings, office events, and community events.
- Track referral sources, send thank‑you letters, and promote referral card and cross‑selling opportunities.
- Request and stock inventory and supplies for treatment rooms and retail areas.
- Hold a valid aesthetician or registered nursing license in accordance with state regulations.
- Share cleaning duties and general duties as assigned.
