The Quality Control supports plant operations by monitoring adherence to food safety and quality policies through direct observations and in-process tests. This is a full-time 1st shift position, non-exempt, reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager.

• Ensure compliance with plant policies and Federal and State regulations including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)/Hazard Analysis and Risk‑Based Preventive Controls (HARPC)
• Conduct pre‑operational inspection of equipment
• Adhere to quality and safety standards
• Accurately record hours worked
• Other duties and/or special projects as assigned
• Test in‑process products for compliance to specification and formulate adjustments as necessary
• Check units on the production lines to ensure products are within quality and food safety limits
• Document test results and communicate deviations to management and co‑workers

Base Pay: Dependent on experience.

Hours: 1st shift Monday‑Friday with 2 Saturdays/Month 7 am‑4 pm.

• Related work experience a plus
• Strong mental reasoning ability
• Ability to complete tasks under speed or productivity quotas
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for 8‑hour shift
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds intermittently
• HACCP/HARPC certified or ability to become certified
• Computer skills: effective use of BPCS, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
• May require flexibility in scheduling
