Power Read Lead Volunteer; PRL Volunteer

Do you love making a difference in your community and are comfortable leading a group? Everybody Wins! Iowa is searching for charismatic volunteers to guide the program and other volunteers at our school sites.

This volunteer role serves as a liaison between school staff, students, mentors, and Everybody Wins! Iowa, as well as leads the school site's Power Read program. We are seeking individuals who have:

• A strong desire to make a difference in our community
• Experience working with and coordinating volunteers
• Good organizational and project management skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills required and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google systems preferred
• The ability to pass all background checks

PRL volunteers will support one school initially, with the possibility of supporting more depending on your availability. Most schools require approximately 90 minutes of support each week. School schedules vary, but hours are primarily between 9 AM - 1 PM, Monday through Friday. Volunteers should be between the ages of 18 and 110.
