Wellness Nurse Manager (PRN)

Location

Rock Creek Senior Living, 3602 NW 5th St., Ankeny, Iowa 50023

Compensation

Wellness Nurse Managers earn $30.00–$37.00 per hour.

Shift Schedule

As needed.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a Superior Supervisor and lead the Wellness team and other departments.
  • Be a Force on the Floor, demonstrating urgency and resident‑first care.
  • Maintain accurate and efficient documentation of resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents.
  • Exemplify compassion and professionalism, ensuring each resident interaction ends with the resident feeling safe and cared for.
Qualifications
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Provide direct hands‑on nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
  • Have thorough knowledge of current care standards, regulations, and medication law.
  • Knowledge of supervision appropriate to residents and experience with memory‑impairment residents is preferred.
  • Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is preferred.
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive, energetic attitude and love for residents.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform two‑person transfers.
  • Clear criminal background.
