Position: US - Lab Technician (Entry)

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to play a vital role in supporting critical laboratory operations during second shift hours. The successful candidate will serve as a key contributor to maintaining the efficiency and organization of laboratory workflows, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and safely. This role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, from managing sample processing and inventory control to operating sophisticated equipment and maintaining meticulous documentation standards.

The position requires an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment where attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are essential. Working closely with multiple supervisors and cross-functional teams, this role provides exposure to various aspects of laboratory operations and offers the opportunity to develop technical expertise in a production-focused setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and maintain general laboratory operations, including housekeeping, orderliness, and cleanliness of work spaces
  • Receive, process, and accurately label incoming samples according to established protocols
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of labware and coordinate receiving of supplies
  • Prepare buffers and reagents following standardized procedures
  • Operate and troubleshoot equipment required for genotyping production activities
  • Review, organize, and archive task-related documents in accordance with quality standards
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Employee Safety and Health guidelines at all times
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and workflow guidelines consistently
  • Interface effectively with manufacturing and research personnel across departments
  • Manage multiple concurrent tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy standards
