Laboratory Support Technician – Lab Administration
Location: Iowa, United States
Pay range: $20.00/hr – $25.00/hr
Shift Schedule- SUNDAY – WEDNESDAY: 3 pm – 2 am
- MONDAY – FRIDAY: 1 am – 10 am
- SUNDAY – THURSDAY: 8 am – 5 pm
The ideal candidate will support daily laboratory activities by leading general operations, housekeeping, maintaining orderliness and cleanliness of the workspace. Other duties include receiving and labeling incoming samples, managing labware inventory, preparing buffers and reagents, troubleshooting and operating equipment required for genotyping production, and reviewing and archiving task‑related documents.
Understanding and following Employee Safety and Health (ESH) guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflow guidelines, and maintaining a safe work environment are required. The candidate should be capable of managing multiple tasks, work effectively with multiple supervisors, and interface with other functions such as manufacturing and research personnel.
