This will be a 14-week temporary position from approximately January 19th - April 27th. You'll work hours per week (no weekends or holidays). The hours for this position are 5:45am-2:00pm Monday-Friday.

Starting pay: $15/hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform serving, cleaning and stocking duties in cafeterias in order to facilitate guest service.
  • Maintain adequate supply of items such as silverware, dishes and trays. Restock food, dishes, trays and silverware from kitchens and supply departments to serving stations.
  • Replenish supplies of food and equipment at salad and serving stations.
  • Wash dishes, flatware, pots and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand. Place clean dishes, utensils and cooking equipment in storage areas.
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition. Sweep and scrub floors.
  • Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving.
  • Operate the cash register for guests’ purchases.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare food with proper technique.
  • Knowledge of food safety.
  • Multi-tasking in a busy fast changing environment.
  • Work performed in a kitchen/cafeteria environment; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
  • At least 16 years old.
Preferred
  • Prior food service industry experience.
  • Early morning availability.
  • Passionate about delivering high quality food and drinks.
  • Cash handling.
