With operations spanning more than 100 countries and a long-standing reputation for quality and compliance standards, the organization is entering a pivotal chapter focused on accelerating growth, enhancing profitability, and scaling its global infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to join a mission-driven business at a critical inflection point where finance will play an instrumental role in shaping the company's future.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Director, Controller will lead the global accounting function and serve as a key partner to executive leadership. This individual will oversee financial reporting, close and consolidation, technical accounting, internal controls, audit, and core accounting operations across a complex, multi-entity organization.

The successful candidate will build scalable processes, support M&A, lead systems modernization, and prepare the organization for increasingly sophisticated reporting and governance requirements.

  • Lead the global accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, close, consolidation, and financial reporting
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Strengthen internal controls and establish a scalable, audit-ready financial reporting environment
  • Oversee technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, business combinations, and organizational restructuring
  • Manage the external audit process and maintain productive relationships with auditors, advisors, and other stakeholders
  • Standardize and automate accounting policies and processes across entities, business units, and geographies
  • Support M&A activity through accounting due diligence, purchase accounting, and post-close integration
  • Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and operational leaders to improve the quality and consistency of financial information
  • Lead accounting work streams associated with the company’s evolving structure and operating model
  • Advance ERP modernization and other finance systems initiatives
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing global accounting team
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
  • CPA or comparable advanced credentials preferred
  • 12+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Experience leading accounting and financial reporting within a global, multi-entity organization
  • Strong technical accounting foundation of U.S. GAAP
  • Demonstrated ownership of complex close, consolidation, and financial reporting processes
  • Experience building or strengthening internal controls and audit-readiness capabilities
  • Track record of improving accounting processes, systems, and organizational effectiveness
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, purchase accounting, and post-close integrations
  • Experience leading ERP or finance systems modernization initiatives
  • Strong people leadership skills with experience building and developing accounting teams
  • Ability to operate effectively in a growing organization where processes and infrastructure are evolving
  • Clear, credible communication style with the ability to influence executives and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience with SOX compliance, enhanced governance, or similarly rigorous reporting requirements is preferred
