HDR is looking for a Senior Construction Consultant to join our national Trenchless Services team. This role reports to the Trenchless Services Engineering Lead and has primary responsibilities supporting the execution of design and field services associated with trenchless services: engineering, design, and construction applications.

Responsibilities- Provide Construction Oversight for Trenchless installations.
- Conduct constructability reviews of Trenchless engineering efforts.
- Conduct daily reviews of deliverables for Trenchless construction activities.
- Conduct site visits during preliminary engineering efforts.
- Conduct Route Assessments for Trenchless aspects of Pipeline Siting & Routing efforts.
- Oversee Trenchless Construction Oversight activities (coordinating staffing, developing/reviewing CM scopes).
- Some client interface to support Business Development for Trenchless services.
- Coordinate subcontractor scheduling, quality control, and overall project delivery.
- Prepare the Project Management Plan or Construction Management Plan.
- Develop procedures for executing construction contract administration activities including document, change, time, cost, quality, and safety management, and implement procedures with the project team.
- Perform additional construction management activities (procurement development, schedules, subcontract scopes, review of subcontract terms, constructability and value engineering reviews, cost/schedule control, and progress presentations).
- Administer and manage construction activities; monitor progress of design related to construction requirements.
- Perform value engineering and constructability reviews; coordinate local bidding efforts for field quotes.
- Assist in procurement of purchase orders and subcontract packages; coordinate document management.
- Review or coordinate submittals including shop drawings and pay applications; prepare, issue, and negotiate Change Orders.
- Review and analyze baseline and updated construction schedules; control the project budget and schedule.
- Coordinate and manage project quality assurance and control, and inspection services; ensure subcontractor compliance with the Health and Safety Program through communication and inspections.
- Prepare and update project schedules, pay requests, and daily/weekly/monthly progress, budget, and schedule management reports.
- Take responsibility for project setup and temporary facilities; perform other duties as needed.
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
- Experience with estimating software, scheduling software, project management software and web-based collaboration software for document exchange.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction planning and management, including but not limited to contracts; document, time, cost, quality management; change management; site safety; procurement; scheduling; and cost control.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.
- Strong people skills and the ability to interact with Owner, Engineer, Contractor, and other project stakeholders.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package and compensation that reflects experience and location. The targeted salary range for this position (based on experience and location) is $135,000 - $165,000
