The OpportunityIn this role, you will lead design execution efforts, including:
- Evaluate, select, specify, and engineer fired equipment suitable for design needs, ensuring reliable, cost‑effective, and efficient operation.
- Prepare equipment cost estimating and man‑hours for FEED and detailed design phases.
- Prepare fired equipment data sheets and technical specifications for bid and purchase.
- Perform bid clarifications / meetings with bidders and prepare technical bid evaluations/summaries for equipment.
- Participate in client project meetings and conduct meetings with the fired equipment team working on the project.
- Participate in design & model reviews, HAZOP reviews, constructability reviews, etc.
- Develop construction sub‑contracts for fired equipment and other mechanical equipment.
- Participate in on‑site start‑up and commissioning work as needed.
- Attend pre‑inspection meetings, inspections, and testing on fired equipment in vendor’s shop.
The Mechanical Engineering Department is a global team delivering high‑quality, on‑time design and services projects across Power, Gas, Fuels & Chemicals, Water & Waste Water, Data Centers, and Mining, including conventional, combined heat and power, hydro, hydrogen, nuclear, solar/renewable, LNG, ammonia, fertilizer projects, as well as specialized air quality control, HVAC, fire protection, piping, thermal, and renewable performance estimating and testing.

Preferred Qualifications- Industries such as power, LNG, gas processing, mining, manufacturing, and water treatment.
- Executing projects from early conceptual to detailed engineering, start‑up, and operations support.
- Reading detailed project drawings, blueprints, and technical interpretations.
- Material and component selection of fired equipment and auxiliaries, complex packaged equipment systems, and similar systems.
- Fired equipment troubleshooting and small services engineering projects.
- Attending and performing engineered equipment shop inspections.
- Writing fired equipment ASME and API overlay specifications.
- Codes/standards
- ASME Code (Section I, Section VIII Divisions 1 & 2).
- NFPA 85, 86, 87 codes.
- EPA emissions regulations and test methods.
- ASME STS‑1; API 521, 537, 560, and other relevant fired equipment standards for purchasing equipment.
- API 573, 936, etc. for equipment inspection and general condition engineering assessment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program in your home country or the country of practice, or equivalent engineering experience.
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
- Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer‑of‑record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries.
