Senior Radar Processing Engineer

K ’s National Security Solutions team provides high‑end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. The selected candidate will support funded projects involving radar processing and the application of estimation and detection theory to novel problems.

• Apply estimation, detection, tracking, and classification expertise to develop solutions to urgent and important problems in the radar systems domain.
• Develop new estimation‑theoretic algorithms and implement them in software (MATLAB®, Python).
• Enhance and extend existing code bases to process data from new sensor systems.
• Prepare and present briefings to current and prospective customers.
• Work with a flexible schedule and be willing to travel to accommodate customer priorities.

• Clearance:
  Active TOP SECRET security clearance.
• Education:
  
  Master’s degree and at least five years’ experience, or PhD degree in electrical engineering, mathematics, or physics.
• Experience:
  
  Programming experience in MATLAB® & Python.
• Work Style:
  Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Clearance:
  Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Radar
  
  Experience:
  
  Understanding of and experience with radar systems and processing.

  Ability to effectively interact with customers to convey results of work and develop new projects.
