Additionally, we provide top‑tier consulting and training for brands and businesses. We are seeking a Senior Aerospace Auditor to perform third‑party audits for our aerospace clients. This position involves auditing client’s management systems for compliance, writing comprehensive audit reports, and assisting clients with questions related to the audit and certification process.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver third‑party audits and associated services to customers, ensuring compliance with assigned standards and registration program requirements
  • Plan and conduct all assessment activities, including documentation reviews (desk audits), preliminary assessments (baseline audits), on‑site readiness reviews, registration audits, and surveillance audits
  • Lead audit team and be responsible for successfully accomplishing assigned projects
  • Review and forward audit reports, client responses to audit nonconformities, and other necessary technical documentation
  • Build professional relationships with NSF ISR clients
  • Uphold appropriate auditor credentials
  • Attend any additional training required to meet business needs
  • Perform other duties as requested
Qualifications
  • Experience in the Aviation, Space, or Defense industry
  • A university degree in science, engineering, technology, manufacturing service, consulting, maintenance, or administration
  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience within the aerospace industry
  • Lead Auditor Certification and audit logs in applicable standards are required
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, reading, and oral proficiency
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Capable of working effectively both individually and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of management systems and auditing practices
  • Certifications:

    AS9100, AS9110, and/or AS9120 and the ability to audit to any of these standards
  • Previous experience as a third‑party auditor
  • Willingness to travel (up to 75%)
  • Required registration with International Aerospace Quality Group – IAQG Oasis Database
Physical Demand
  • Ability to walk, stand, and sit for long periods
  • Moderate physical effort is required (ability to move up to 50 pounds from one area to another with assistance)
  • Extensive travel by plane or car required
Salary

U.S. Salary Range: $80,000 - $133,000. The disclosed pay range estimate takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, experience, and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At NSF, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
