In the role of Power Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Coordinating the work of the power design team through schematic design development and contract document phases
• Participating in meetings and reviews with governing agencies for code compliance
• Managing workload to meet project deadlines
• Conducting work sessions at project sites with the Project Manager and other disciplines
• Reviewing project documents for conflicts with other disciplines
• Writing and editing project specifications
• Coordinating with disciplines on addenda, RFIs, change orders, and incorporating changes into documents
• Providing construction contract administration as needed
• Performing QA/QC on work of team members as needed
• Performing additional duties as required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in Substation communication
• Experience with an engineering consulting firm

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license
• Experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard Power Sector design software (e.g., PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Revit)
