Must Haves:

• 0
  -3 years of experience with Micro Station or AutoCAD designing
• Associates degree preferred or applicable design experience
• Civil engineering, substation, utilities, mechanical engineering or related experience
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Plusses:

• Experience with Micro Station and/or worked with electric utility type drawings a plus.
• Worked with multiple design standards.

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a CADD Technician to join our clients' engineering team in downtown Ann Arbor, MI. The CADD Technician in this position will be part of the Power Delivery group primarily generating and modifying design drawings for high power substations. Including but not limited to wiring, schematics, physical arrangements, structural and civil site drawings. Other job responsibilities include:

• Working in multiple design software, including AutoCAD and Micro Station.
• Able to display attention to detail and good organization skills.
• Work closely under the direction of professional engineers and staff.

Must have good communication skills and be able to work in a team setting.
