We are looking for a senior mechanical engineer to join KLA’s Electronics Rack & PDU Engineering Center in Ann Arbor, MI. Our team designs and develops advanced electromechanical assemblies that power high‑performance computing (HPC) infrastructure for KLA products, enabling innovative AI‑driven image data processing. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of next‑generation rack and power distribution solutions aligned with KLA’s compute and rack roadmaps.
TechnicalExpertise
- Solid foundation in mechanical design and analysis, including solid mechanics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, mechanics of materials, and finite element analysis (FEA).
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Creo preferred) and FEA software (Ansys preferred).
- Hands‑on experience in electromechanical assembly design, ideally at the rack‑system level.
- Familiarity with liquid cooling technologies for server racks highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Consistent track record of driving schedules and deliverables under compressed timelines.
- Strong collaborator communication and relationship‑building capabilities.
- Knowledge of production processes and experience with install base issue resolution.
- Genuine interest in developing people‑management skills and leading small teams.
- Master’s Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years.
- Bachelor’s Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years.
Base Pay Range: $91,900.00 – $ Annually
