Tax Supervisor

A great UHY client is seeking a Tax Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, previous management experience, and One Source experience.

The Tax Supervisor role is a hybrid position. This is a client direct‑hire position.

• Prepares or reviews foreign, federal, state, and local tax returns including property tax returns, sales/use tax returns, and federal, state, and municipal returns, extensions, and quarterly payments.
• Prepares tax provision schedules by reviewing, preparing, and consolidating provision schedules.
• Recommends tax strategies by researching federal, state, and local taxation issues.
• Maintains and updates legislative materials by reviewing, interpreting, and implementing new or revised laws.
• Maintains compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities.
• Assists with internal/external audits.
• Identifies tax saving opportunities and process/technology improvements.
• Responds to notices and correspondence received from tax authorities.
• This position may require travel up to 10%.
• Reviews the work of others.
• Reports to the Tax Manager.
• Has 1 or more direct reports.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 5 to 7 years of position‑related experience; preferably 7 to 9 years.
• Experience with One Source Income Tax Software is strongly preferred.
• Experience with tax research software is required.
• Corporate Tax experience and/or Public Accounting experience preferred.
