We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Tax Supervisor to lead our corporate tax function within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing federal, state, and local tax compliance, tax planning, audits, and ensuring the company meets all tax-related obligations.

Salary plus 15% bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Oversee sales and use tax compliance across multiple states.
• Supervise quarterly and annual tax provisions (ASC 740).
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants.
• Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IRS regulations, and manufacturing industry standards.
• Manage tax audits and respond to notices from tax authorities.
• Maintain documentation for transfer pricing, R&D credits, and fixed asset depreciation.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws affecting the manufacturing sector.
• Support special projects and M&A activities from a tax perspective.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (Master’s in Taxation a plus).
• 2+ years of tax experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of corporate tax regulations, multi-state taxation, and sales/use tax.
• Experience with tax software such as Corptax, ONESOURCE, or Vertex.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite).
