A leading manufacturing company based in Ann Arbor, MI, is seeking a dedicated Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs to ensure the well-being of our employees and compliance with all environmental regulations.

The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator will work closely with employees at all levels of the organization to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. This individual will conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify potential hazards and ensure that all safety protocols are being followed.

Key responsibilities of the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator include:

• Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
• Training employees on safety protocols and procedures
• Conducting regular inspections of facilities to identify hazards
• Investigating accidents and near misses to determine causes and prevent future occurrences
• Ensuring compliance with all environmental health and safety regulations

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in environmental health and safety, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. A bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field is preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization.
