Behavioral Support Specialist

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

A family is seeking a dedicated and compassionate BCBA, QBHP or teacher to provide full-time 1:1 support for their child across home and school settings. This role is ideal for an individual who values consistency, connection, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in one child’s daily life.

• Provide individualized behavioral support throughout the school day and at home, helping the child maintain focus, regulation, and engagement.
• Implement ABA strategies and behavior intervention plans in both settings, ensuring consistency across environments.
• Collect data, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed.
• Communicate regularly with the family, teachers, and other professionals to coordinate care.
• Manage the child’s daily transportation to and from school (pick-up and drop-off).
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all professional and ethical guidelines.

• Ability to problem solve.
• Strong written communication skills and report writing.
• Ability to respond quickly to phone calls, texts, and emails.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook systems.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license, clean driving record and no criminal history (background check required).
• Experience supporting children in both home and school environments preferred.

Required:

Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or Related Field or Active Teaching Certificate

Preferred:
Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Certification by the BACB

Preferred:
Experience working with children with ASD

Preferred:
Experience with Programming in Clinical Settings Preferred

Preferred:
Experience Supervising RBTs and/or Behavior Therapists Preferred

Preferred:
Experience with Autism and Related Disorders

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
