Our Bar Manager is responsible for creating a vibrant, hospitable and well‑managed bar and beverage program in alignment with the vision of the restaurant. They build and maintain a welcoming and dynamic experience for all stakeholders, ensuring the bar exceeds expectations for organization, efficiency, cleanliness and quality. The Bar Manager effectively manages beer, wine and liquor costs, batches and perishables within budgets, hires, trains and educates the entire service staff, and plays an integral role in the overall success of the establishment.

• Set the tone and energy of the bar and beverage program, managing all moving parts with strong communication and efficiency.
• Take shifts and collaborate with bar staff to assess strengths and areas for improvement.
• Encourage creativity from the bar team to develop seasonal menus and recruit talent that embodies enthusiasm and value alignment.
• Uphold cleanliness, ensuring stocking and storage of beverages is organized and well‑cared for.
• Develop programs, events, and new ways of promoting beverage offerings.
• Maintain good vendor relationships and represent the brand.
• Exude heartfelt hospitality, provide excellent service, and inspire others to do the same.
• Stay informed on local competitors, industry trends and opportunities; bring ideas to keep the bar vibrant and guests engaged.
• Work closely with the GM and Wine Director to understand financial reports, use data to make corrective actions, and achieve sales goals while optimizing labor efficiency.
• Build a culture of continuous learning for the beverage program, offering training for new hires and consistent education for existing staff.

• 2+ years experience managing a beverage program in a fine dining restaurant.
• Strong and professional communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle a large volume of inquiries, calls, and needs with purpose and urgency.
• Self‑management of priorities and a values‑based approach to decision making.
• Discretion in managing confidential information.
• Organized and detail‑oriented, keeping many stakeholders informed.
• Polished, personable, and professional appearance and attire on site.
• Ability to build relationships with guests and team members at all levels of the organization.
• Adaptive organizational skills to change plans and meet new circumstances.
• Proficiency with Canva for updating marketing materials.
