Greenhills School has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology (IT) team. We seek a highly skilled, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented professional to serve as the technical lead for a small team of IT specialists and administrators.

The Lead Systems Administrator will be responsible for leading complex projects, making informed recommendations, and implementing, maintaining, and supporting critical systems that enable the mission and operations of Greenhills School. This role involves analyzing, evaluating, and recommending technology solutions based on institutional needs, budget considerations, and opportunities to enhance school‑wide strategy, efficiency, and service quality.

As a key member of the IT Department, the Lead Systems Administrator will stay current with emerging technologies and educational technology trends to ensure Greenhills remains innovative and secure. The position includes on‑call responsibilities and requires versatility to assist across IT functions, including helpdesk support, software and systems training, and application support. Daily collaboration with faculty, staff, and students is an essential part of the role, and strong customer service and communication skills are vital.

We seek an individual who is:

  • Self‑motivated, collaborative, and adaptable
  • Excited to learn and implement new technologies
  • Comfortable leading initiatives while also supporting daily operations

Please note: Greenhills may consider hiring an additional, less senior position for the right motivated candidate who demonstrates strong potential and a willingness to learn and grow in this role.

Greenhills School is eager to consider applications from groups traditionally underrepresented in independent school communities. We want a diverse mix of talented people who want to join us as student‑centered educators and role models who bring joy and good humor to our classrooms, fields, and offices, employ a broad array of effective instructional methods, work collaboratively with colleagues, seek and respond to student feedback, and commit to reflective practice and continual growth.

We pride ourselves on being a warm and welcoming inclusive community.
