About the Role:
As our client migrates its enterprise data platforms to the cloud, we're seeking a seasoned Data Architect to lead the design and development of a scalable, high-performance Azure-based data ecosystem. In this role, you'll architect solutions that power everything from real-time delivery tracking to predictive ordering models, ensuring our data platform continues to support innovation and growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and implement large-scale cloud data solutions on Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
- Lead the migration of complex on-premises data environments to a modern cloud platform.
- Develop data models, pipelines, and frameworks to support real-time analytics, AI/ML, and advanced reporting.
- Partner with engineering, analytics, and business teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and performance standards across all solutions.
- Optimize data workflows to handle high transaction volumes and large-scale data processing.
Required Qualifications :
- 10+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise-scale data architectures.
- Proven, hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure data services and Databricks.
- Strong background in data modeling, SQL, and ETL/ELT pipeline design.
- Experience with large-scale cloud migrations and modern data platform architectures.
- Deep understanding of data governance, performance optimization, and security in the cloud.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, or Azure Data Lake Storage.
- Familiarity with real-time streaming data tools (Kafka, Event Hubs, etc.).
- Prior experience in high-volume, customer-facing industries such as retail, QSR, or e-commerce.
