Responsibilities
- The programmer will be working with Salesforce and various integrated components as used for managing Executive Education courses at Ross.
- The programmer / analyst will work to analyze, design, create, and test complex Salesforce integrations and other data systems in coordination with the Senior Salesforce Technical Lead, business analysts, and other application programmers.
- Help prepare project analysis reports of proposed systems and systems changes, including functional scope documents, data flow charts, user interface wireframes, and quality assurance test plans.
- Manage the development and deliverables of complex projects, including timelines, delivery schedules, installation support, and end-user training as needed.
- Exec Ed - Salesforce Temp
- 60% - Application analysis, design and programming:
- Work in coordination with the Senior Salesforce Technical Lead, business analysts, and other application programmers to analyze, design, create, and test complex Salesforce integrations with other applications using various development tools, programming languages, and databases.
- Help prepare project analysis reports of proposed systems for management, including functional scope documents, data flow charts, user interface wireframes, and quality assurance test plans.
- Under guidance of the Ross Salesforce team, help create and coordinate the interfaces between major systems and programs using API methods and ETL tools.
- Under guidance of the Ross Salesforce team, design, create, and modify existing Apex code, including both code modules and test classes. Create and modify Visual Force pages to manage Salesforce interfaces and data.
- Work in coordination with the Senior Salesforce Technical Lead to structure data integrity, data quality, and Salesforce administrative tasks for student temporary workers.
- Manage the development and deliverables of complex projects, including timelines, delivery schedules, installation support, and end-user training as needed.
- Use Jira, Slack, Github, and other Dev Ops tools and processes and follow Ross's internal processes to communicate, deploy, and document code changes.
- 40% - Support Released Applications:
- Work with Ross IT Salesforce team to update data workflows in Salesforce and Flat bridge as business needs and software functional requirements change.
- Troubleshoot and correct minor issues with software as they arise.
- Assist in implementing system infrastructure and technology upgrades.
- Manage and participate in QA testing of departmental applications with end users
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or combination of degree and equivalent experience.
- .NET coding experience, including the creation of objects / classes
- 3-5 years of programming experience, or combination of experience and training.

- 4-7 years of programming experience in a full stack object-oriented programming development environment or combination of experience and training
- Experience with Salesforce release cycle implementation and deployments of new/updates to applications and code.
- Experience creating custom Salesforce Apex code / Test Classes, Lightning Components, and Visualforce pages
- Experience setting up data integrations and triggers with Informatica or other ETL tools
- Experience receiving and sending data using REST and/or JSON APIs
- You must have strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to exercise tact and diplomacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality in matters of a sensitive or confidential nature.
- You must also have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Experience with SQL languages and database activities (procedures, queries, triggers, schemas tables etc)
