Position: IT Network Conversion Technicians (3rd Shift Onsite Roles)

Our client needs Network Conversion Technicians for a critical project that will upgrade all networking equipment in the client’s locations across the country by the end of 2026. The right candidate should have experience working in an IT Support role (helpdesk and/or desktop support) and sufficient knowledge of IT hardware/software to work over the phone with an onsite user, walk them through the necessary steps to remotely convert from the old network to the new network, and conduct test orders to validate the conversion was successful.

They will follow a detailed process with documented steps; scripts and automation will be pre‑written, so attention to detail and a strong ability to explain directions to the onsite contact will be crucial.

Shift / Schedule

This team will work overnight Monday‑Thursday from 11:30 pm‑9:30 am, with each person expected to convert 3 onsite locations a night (conversions estimated to take 3 hours).

Core Responsibilities

• Assist with the remote conversion of networking equipment for onsite locations.
• Walk onsite contacts through setup procedures and test orders.
• Follow documented processes and pre‑written scripts or automation.
• Escalate any networking issues to the dedicated networking team.

Preferred

Skills & Qualifications

• Desktop or help‑desk support experience.
• Customer service, troubleshooting and phone support skills.
• Network support knowledge (not required to configure).
• CompTIA certifications desirable.
• Ability to explain technical steps clearly.
