Position Overview

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance professional to join our Ann Arbor manufacturing facility on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the physical infrastructure of our plant, ensuring that all systems and spaces operate safely and efficiently. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth functioning of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure
• Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance as needed to keep facilities in optimal working condition
• Respond to maintenance requests and address issues in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the facility
• Assist with facility improvements and upgrades
• Document maintenance activities and report on facility conditions
• Support compliance with facility safety and operational standards
• Experience managing contractors and overseeing ongoing projects
• Ability to salt and clear walkways when needed, particularly if the contracted service is delayed
• Assist with moving furniture and setting up rooms for lunches, special events, and meetings
• General maintenance experience and a strong facilities background
• Responsible for unlocking the building in the morning and securing/locking it at the end of the day
• Coordinate and request service support when issues arise that require outside vendors or specialized assistance

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance, general maintenance, or a related field
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot common facility issues
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliability and professional demeanor

Working Conditions

This position is based in a manufacturing environment. The role is temporary and begins November 2, 2026. Must be able to interview today 10/30/26

Compensation

$30.00 per hour
