Position Summary

The Production Assembler plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, contributing to the manufacture of high‑quality products. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to quality standards. The Production Assembler must execute assembly tasks according to work instructions, achieve set production goals, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and leverage Lean manufacturing tools to enhance efficiency.

Pay: $17.00 per hour with a $2.25 shift premium. Shift schedule:
Friday – Sunday, 6:00 am – 6:30 pm.

Responsibilities
  • Follow established work instructions to assemble products and/or parts.
  • Achieve established goals or deadlines for specific work areas.
  • Operate required equipment per safety guidelines.
  • Complete all required paperwork and/or data entry.
  • May work at different workstations as production needs require.
  • Maintain attendance and dependability; report to work on time and follow attendance guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Six months of related experience and/or training preferred.

Required Licenses

  • None.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Perform basic math.
  • Read and interpret tape measurements accurately.

  • None.

  • Reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Visual Acuity

  • Required visual acuity to operate machines and perform skilled trade tasks (e.g., lathes, drill presses, power saws, mills).

Working Conditions

  • Inside and outside environmental conditions, including heat, noise, vibration, and hazards from a production-based environment.
