Manufacturing Technician

Our client, a leader in the optical components industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the Raman Probes Production Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Location: Ann Arbor, MI

Pay Rate: $20

• Build, test, and troubleshoot optical and electronic assemblies
• Write and revise work instructions for probe manufacturing
• Set up equipment and perform complex measurements
• Collaborate with engineers and vendors to resolve material issues
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and quality standards in the workspace

• 2+ years of experience in electronic, optical, or mechanical assembly
• Associate degree or 7+ years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical assembly drawings
• Experience with ERP systems (Syteline preferred)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
