Building a Kubernetes containerization platform with Rancher on top, plus the software pipeline/product lifecycle for code development in the Dev Ops team ("building the machine that produces the applications").
- Platform is in its infancy (one application built so far) and has been the focus for the past 6+ months and will be for the next 6 months.
- The main application to be built over the next 2-3 years will be very large, with large data sets expected.
- This person will also help research and build out the observability platform, as the tech stack for that piece has not been decided.
- 3+ years of Kubernetes administration
- Terraform
- Rancher (hands-on).
- 5+ years total experience
Platform engineering background, not pure development.
