Overview

Westgate Chapel is seeking a full-time Groups/Discipleship Pastor to lead and develop the adult discipleship ministries of our growing church. This key leadership role will provide vision, oversight, and support for Life Groups, Sunday morning communities, mid-week and Sunday classes/Bible studies, and both men’s and women’s ministries.

• Lead and develop the adult discipleship ministries of the church, including Life Groups, Sunday morning communities, mid-week and Sunday classes/Bible studies, and men’s and women’s ministries.
• Provide vision, oversight, and support for the Groups Ministry, reporting to the Executive Pastor of Ministries.
• Serve on the Management Team and lead the Groups Ministry Council.
• Develop and empower lay leaders and teams; grow ministries and foster a culture of discipleship.
• Depending on gifting, contribute to the preaching team.

• Proven leader and team builder with a track record of developing others and growing ministries.
• Strong character with a heart for discipleship and helping people connect within the body of Christ.
• Licensing with The Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA) or eligibility and commitment to pursue licensing; to learn more about licensing requirements, visit the C&MA website.
