Hourly range for Registered Nurses $41.78- $64.81 / hour- Evening Shift Differential - $3.00 / hour

Scrub and circulate in the Cardiovascular Center operating rooms assigned under the clinical supervision of a Clinical Nursing Director. To rotate shift and accept call as assigned by Clinical Nursing Director. To assist in the teaching activities of the Operating Room.

This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL
C. Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire. Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level
F.

Required Qualifications *Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
One (1) year of current (within the last year) Operating Room experience as an RN.
Ability to work with a non‑responsive patient population.
Call commitment with 30 minute response time.
In order to be considered for this position the applicant must have met or will have met all the required qualifications prior to the start date of employment.

- Current (within 3 years) ability to scrub and circulate
- CNOR certification
- BSN
- Demonstrated ability to handle stress, conflict and resolution.
- Ability to work with non‑responsive patient population.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with ability to work as a team member.
- Highly motivated and organized.
Hours:
40 hours.
Shift: Rotating position (Day/Evening or Day/Night) – 8 hour shift with weekend and holiday on‑call/ shift obligations.
Location:
Cardiovascular Center-Operating Room.
Note:
All new employees will be expected to float to a designated unit(s) in times of low census.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U‑M and the Michigan Nurses Association and the U‑M Professional Nurse Council union, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.
