Overview
Registered Nurse RN Medical PCU at Trinity Health MI – located in Ann Arbor. This is a full-time, rotating-shift position in the Medicine PCU with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Employment type:
Full time. Shifts available:
Rotating Day, Evening, and Night shifts. Status:
Full time, Part time with Every Other Weekend and Every other Holiday per year required for Full-time and Part-Time team members.
- Gathers and analyzes patient information.
- Develops, implements, evaluates and revises an individualized plan of care.
- Uses teach-back methodology to educate patient and family.
- Effectively communicates patient status, priority goals and interventions during consultations, rounds and handoffs.
- Follows all HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Behaves in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of St. Joseph Mercy Hospitals.
- Education:
Graduation from a school of nursing that results in eligibility to sit for the NCLEX to become a licensed Registered Nurse. BSN preferred. - Licensure:
Current State of Michigan RN license. BLS. ACLS required for the following departments:
Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency. - Experience:
Experienced Canadian Registered Nurses are encouraged to apply. - Additional requirements:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program; since 2013, new hires must have a BSN or agree in writing to obtain BSN within five years from hire or transfer to an RN role; knowledge of nursing theory, practice and age-specific needs; strong interpersonal skills; critical thinking; attention to detail.
