Salary: $87,068.80 – $ per year

• Charge nurse differential: $1.00 per hour

8E is an acute care unit caring for adult surgical patients – endocrine surgery, benign gynecologic surgery, gynecologic oncology – as well as medicine hematology patients including leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, aplastic anemia, immune and genetic diseases. All nurses receive hospital‑based training competency check‑off for chemotherapy administration and EKG interpretation. Telemetry capability provides the highest level of care.

• Michigan RN license – all candidates who passed the NCLEX (GN applicants will be considered; selected graduate nurse must pass NCLEX before start date).
• BSN preferred.
• 2–5 years oncology experience.
• 2–5 years surgical post‑op experience.
• Recent telemetry experience.
• Full time – 36 hours per week, 2 of 4 weekends per schedule. Nights, 8 & 12‑hour shifts.
• Union affiliation: U‑M & Michigan Nurses Association.
