Hourly range for Registered Nurses $41.78-$64.81 / hour
- Evening Shift Differential -$3.00 / hour
- Night Shift Differential- $4.00 / hour
- Day Shift Weekend Differential- $2.90 / hour
- Evening Shift Weekend Differential- $5.90 / hour
- Night Shift Weekend Differential- $6.90 / hour
- Charge Nurse Differential- $1.00 / hour

- RN will rotate between Pre op, Phase I, Phase II, extended stay, short stay unit.
- Provide patient/family education
- Charge nurse responsibilities on unit as assigned
- Provides family centered care through collaboration with all members of the health care team
- Participates with health care team for problem solving in area of care
- Demonstrated high personal and professional motivation to provide excellent care
- Demonstrated communication for patient advocacy
- Demonstrated ability of effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication with internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated adaptability to changing needs and priorities on unit, department, and institutional goals/objectives.

- Salary & Nursing Framework Level: This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL
C. Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire. - Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level
E. - Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position. Posting may be filled after the initial 5-day posting period.

- Positions less than 20 hours/week may be combined.

Required Qualifications *- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan
- Minimum of two (2) years of Surgical PACU experience (Phase I required within 1 year)
- Pre-Op experience within the last one (1) year
- Current PACU Adult experience
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Experience with critical airway management
- Demonstrated proficiency with IV starts
- Proficient in Michart (Optime)

- Preoperative Call Experience
