STAFF NURSE (TEMP) Central Staffing Resources Specialty Cluster (Adult Emergency Services)
This job opening is for a Temporary Float RN position within the Central Staffing Resource Department (CSR) and Adult Emergency Services

ResponsibilitiesThe UMAdult ED is a Level 1
Trauma Center capable of cardiac monitoring, and includes5 resuscitation bays. Our Registered Nurses care for patients who present with a variety of injuries or ailments, ranging from minor to life‑threatening. Nursing staff will receive the specialized training necessary to care for patients within the specific areas of our department. Documentation occurs for all patients in an electronic medical record.

Required Qualifications- Current Michigan licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Two (2) or more years current Adult ED RN experience
- Current AHA ACLS provider certification, c andidate will need to be able to provide proof of certification upon offer
- Current TNCC certification, c andidate will need to be able to provide proof of certification upon offer

- BSN preferred
- Experience as a float RN

** Commitment is 32hours per 4 week scheduling period, excluding coverage of incremental PTO
** Day, Evening and Night shifts are avaialble; 8, 10 AND 12 HR BLOCKS AVAILABLE!

- Expected to float to like units where competent and qualified in times of decreased activity
- Inability to work for three (3) months consecutively will lead to automatic termination from employment at Michigan Medicine.
