Restaurant Host - Part Time

Overview

We are looking for a part‑time Host to work approximately three days per week at Relish Restaurant. The restaurant opens 7am – 11am and 4pm – 10pm. This role is great for students or anyone seeking some extra cash.

• Greet and escort guests to tables, ensuring a courteous and efficient dining experience.
• Offer guests a choice of seating and present menus.
• Maintain proper dining room set‑up, including bussing tables and arranging place settings.
• Receive reservations and make necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions.
• Perform any other job duties as assigned.

• Ability to communicate in English.
• Self‑starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Can communicate well with guests.
• Ability to comprehend guest requests, memos, reservations, promotional materials, event orders and similar written materials.
• Ability to move throughout a crowded room to seat guests.
• Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
• Must be willing to “pitch‑in” and help co‑workers with their job duties and be a team player.
