Position Overview

Store Support is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining consistent execution across departments, and delivering exceptional retail customer service. This position is accountable for effectively opening and/or closing the store and acting as a liaison between store‑level teams and Store Leadership. The Store Support ensures adherence to Plum Market policies, monitors operational compliance, and supports a culture of high performance, safety, and hospitality.

What you will bring
  • Experience supervising or supporting multiple departments in a fast‑paced retail or hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of store operations, including inventory, merchandising, compliance, and customer service standards
  • Ability to coach and support team members with positive, consistent feedback
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break; ability to bend and stoop, lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and push/pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted
What you will do
  • Support store‑level execution by opening and/or closing the store, ensuring all departments are ready for business or properly secured
  • Provide exceptional guest service and assist with escalated service concerns as needed
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to Plum Market policies, procedures, and quality standards across all departments
  • Collaborate with department leaders to ensure adequate stocking, proper merchandising, and readiness for peak hours
  • Act as the central communication point between store leadership, department teams, and the director group
  • Assist with special projects, compliance audits, and performance initiatives
  • Foster a team‑first environment where accountability, professionalism, and hospitality thrive
