Role OverviewWe are looking for an account executive to join a strong sales team that values collaboration, communication, and transparency. This individual will prospect in an assigned geographic territory, converting prospects into customers through a defined process and market development sales activities. They will lead efforts to accelerate prospect acquisition by leveraging the company's differentiated value-adds, supported by a savvy market development and demand generation strategy.
The account executive must align sales efforts with Certa Site’s operational capabilities. This is a ground-floor building opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious person. The role reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Average OTE $130-$150k based on experience

- Follow established sales strategies and processes within the CRM platform
- Develop fire and life safety solutions tailored to prospects
- Manage time efficiently, focusing on activities that increase quota achievement and EBITDA growth
- Monitor competition and understand purchasing decisions of buyers
- Drive revenue by establishing and selling solutions through Certa Site’s product and service platform
- Help professionalize the company’s go-to-market strategy and sales functions
- Optimize gross margins organization-wide
- Partner with marketing to keep the value proposition relevant
- Gather information to make informed recommendations
- Persuasively sell ideas to gain support and buy-in
- Use communication techniques to negotiate effectively
- Remain resilient under stress
- Leverage contacts for company updates
- Balance new requests with established priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience
- Experience in B2B fire and life safety industry, driving revenue and building GTM strategies
- Proven track record in uncovering opportunities and closing sales following a prescribed process
- Strong outcome orientation and contagious enthusiasm
- Ability to identify high-value prospects and convert them into customers

Physical Requirements
Controlled climate, office environment, local travel; no overnight travel required. Visit customer locations and attend meetings in field settings. Must sit for long periods, using monitor, keyboard, and phone.
