The Dedicated/Mobile Security Officer will be responsible for providing security services to various locations within the Ann Arbor, MI area. The officer will be required to travel to different sites and provide security services as needed. The officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and customers.

• Provide security services to various locations within the Ann Arbor, MI area
• Travel to different sites and provide security services as needed
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and customers
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary
• Escort or drive motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to travel to different sites as needed
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous security experience preferred

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle
