• Collaborate with the team to re-engineer existing global in-store technology applications using .NET, WPF, HTML5, and Java. Responsible for segments or phases of broader and more complex projects with a global focus on development.
• Analyze functional requirements and design software modules, clarifying scope with business analysts and product managers.
• Follow industry standards, patterns, and best practices for .NET development and implementing business rules.
• Identify and implement reusable, object-oriented code.
• Assist lead developers in producing project artifacts.
• Support building, deploying, and releasing application builds.
• Stay updated with the latest .NET technologies and continue developing technical skills.
• Review code and perform unit, functional, and integration testing to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with the project team and be flexible to achieve team goals.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, standups, and status meetings.
• Maintain an ownership mentality while focusing on team objectives.
• Manage release cycles and software development environments.
• Identify development issues and provide constructive feedback to management.
• Gain knowledge of the targeted business segment.
• Work with support personnel to understand functionality before deployment.
• Develop and test patches and quick fixes for application maintenance.
• Assist support staff with investigations and solutions for domestic and international installations.

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with .NET technologies.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server/IBM DB2.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Experience with development and testing using .NET, C#, ASP, Visual Basic, VB Scripting.
• Understanding of REST, SOAP, and JSON.
• Knowledge of platforms such as Windows, UNIX, and Linux.
• Ability to analyze and resolve programming issues, defects, and bugs.
• Proficient with debugging and code profiling tools.
• Experience with large systems design, UNIX/Linux, and programming in C, C++, Java.
• Experience using Eclipse IDE and unit testing.
